Well, it seems that Prince Harry is off to a great start as he has landed a job on CNBC. Well, first, CNBC reports that Harry registered a job on his kid’s birth certificate when he was just born, making him Prince of England. It does stop there, though. Harry has also taken on an important new role for the London Gaming Commission. He is now the first ever full time British Chess champion.
If you are not yet aware, Prince Harry is starting to become known in the United Kingdom and around the world for many things. Many people say he has a strong jaw that will make him a great force for crime, violence, and even politics. On the other side of the spectrum, many people applaud his strong physique and leadership skills. These traits are starting to earn him a considerable amount of respect in many parts of the world. That includes his new role as a chief impact officer for the Gambling Commission.
So, what does this job entail? Well, according to CNBC, Prince Harry is charged with the responsibility of leading a team of people in improving online gambling laws and hopefully stopping fraud. Specifically, he will be working closely with his longtime mutual friend Lord James Grell. This two men have worked together in the past on issues related to tax avoidance and they remain so strongly in favor of these types of issues. In other words, it will be a very important role for Harry to ensure that Britain keeps its strict regulations on gambling and anything that affects gambling.
The two men met each other when they were 18 years old and moved in together in the United Kingdom, so technically Prince Harry is not a “youngster” in the role of chief impact officer. Nevertheless, he has been working with Grell for quite some time, so naturally Prince Harry is in a position to help with major issues facing the British gaming industry. The two men share a strong mutual belief in the importance of online poker to Britain’s economy.
It should be noted that Prince Harry is not just a young man with a new royal job; rather he is a prince, which requires him to maintain certain governmental positions, according to The Times. Therefore, a true and honest ruler of the British throne must always give up his position as a high-ranking royal official in order to take on the new job of CFO. Even though, the job does not require any board membership or other credentials, it will definitely be very stressful and possibly even dangerous. One could say that it is more of a war-like position than a traditional one. Thus, we can see that Prince Harry is indeed taking on a real responsibility when he takes on the new job of CFO.
One of the things about the prince that has caused a lot of the Royal Family a lot of confusion is his apparent lack of experience with mental health and gambling. The rumor mills have been circulating that the prince is required to resign as an advisor to the queen, as well as the duke of Gloucester. These are both untrue as Prince Harry is merely fulfilling his obligations as a member of the royal family and has never actually had to step down from any post while he was working as a consultant. If the rumors are true, then either someone needs to tell the duke and queen or the prince has some sort of psychological problem that requires psychological help to correct.
What most people don’t realize is that the prince is actually starting to get quite the education while he is working as an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley. The duke is expected to step aside once the new job opens up in order to allow a lady relative of his to succeed in the position. Until then, there are going to be many people wondering just what the duke has been doing all these years, as well as why he hasn’t stepped aside earlier. On the other hand, the prince’s success is not without its own set of problems. Many people are speculating on whether he’ll stay focused on the new venture or not, given his poor leadership skills. Regardless, Prince Harry is doing what every good entrepreneur does when embarking on a new business endeavor-making sure to take care of himself.
